About us

Husband and wife writing and editing team, Robyn Bennett and Bob Boze, formed Writing Allsorts almost ten years ago to help writers and small business owners. Their extensive and varied educations and backgrounds led them to provide advice, based not only on theory and rules, but adjusted by real life experience, Equally important to writers across the world, their US, England and New Zealand backgrounds give them both an American and English point of view when they review and edit manuscripts.

Together and separately, they have published over 17 of their own fiction and non-fiction works. They have also given multiple presentations on writing and editing; including a virtual presentation on Editing Untangled at the 2020 International Dublin Writers Festival in Ireland. Additionally, their presentations and writing workshops for students at Chula Vista Schools and San Diego Charter Schools have been well received.

Robyn Bennett

Robyn has always loved to write. She is the author of several contemporary romances and one non-fiction book (Minute Taking Madness). She has also co-authored with Bob on several fiction and non-fiction books. In addition, she has written for a newspaper (The Blenheim Sun), and magazines, including The Executive Secretary (UK), BooksGoSocial, Your Secret Library Romance edition (Dublin, Ireland) and blogs across three websites.

Robyn has taught business writing in both corporate organisations and to individuals and has written training course materials.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and a Certificate in Editing and Proofreading.

Bob’s Background

Bob is a diverse author with multiple published fiction and non-fiction books.

In addition to his editing and proofreading skills, Bob is an avid reader, reviewer, beta reader, blogger and guest blogger on several web sites.

Commercially, he has been responsible for the design, development and proofing of technical manuals, operating instructions and repair manuals for both the military and commercial airlines.

His education includes: Studies in Creative Writing, Literature, English Literature and English at NYU, William and Mary, University of Maryland and the University of Delaware. He holds a dual BS degree in Electronic Engineering in Systems Design and Development and Project Management.
